Mr. Ashwani Bhatia is a distinguished financial markets and banking professional with over 40 years of wide experience spanning regulatory governance, apex commercial banking, asset management, and investment banking.

He served as a Whole-Time Member at Securities and Exchange Board of India (‘SEBI’) from June, 2022 to May, 2025. At SEBI, his stint revolves around Department of Debt and Hybrid Securities, Corporate Finance Investigation, Corporate Finance, General Services, and the National Institute of Securities Markets. He also strengthened India's regulatory frameworks, enhanced market integrity, and championed robust investor protection mechanisms.

Before joining SEBI, Mr. Bhatia was associated with the State Bank Group for 37 years. He joined State Bank of India (‘SBI’) as a Probationary Officer in 1985 and led leadership role as Managing Director (Corporate Banking & Global Markets), SBI. Prior to becoming Managing Director at SBI, he served as Managing Director & CEO at SBI Funds Management Limited.

He has a plethora of knowledge & experience in Capital Markets, Asset Management, Retail Banking, Corporate Banking and Treasury.

Mr. Krishnan Ramachandran holds a bachelor’s of technology in electrical and electronic engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Tamil Nadu and holds a post-graduate diploma in management from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, West Bengal. He has been associated with the Company since April 2020.

He has over 24 years of experience across health insurance, healthcare & life sciences industries. Previously, he has been associated with Apollo Munich Health Insurance Company Limited as their chief executive officer and has been a consultant with Deloitte Consulting L.P. and Arthur Andersen. He has also been associated with Apollo DKV Insurance Company Ltd. as their chief operating officer in 2007.

She serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Equitas Small Finance Bank, Home First Finance, and IIMA Ventures. She has recently co-founded Translation Endeavours—an initiative designed to help universities establish early-stage deep-tech venture funds that strengthen their research and incubation ecosystems.

She spent over 18 years at the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in several leadership roles in India and globally. She led the India Office of the foundation from 2018-2024. Prior to MSDF, she worked for 12 years in Corporate Finance at PwC, advising global clients on M&A, valuations, and strategic partnerships.

Mr. Mohit Gupta holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Bachelor in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya, Sardar Patel University.

Mr. Mohit is a dynamic leader and entrepreneur, He has twenty-six years of professional experience spanning across a diverse range of consumer product and service industries. He has also had the rare distinction of being a part of the core leadership teams that took two young Indian startups to successful IPOs.

He worked for a decade with Pepsico, where he led the setting up of the organised retail go to market and drove the scale up of leading beverage brands like 7Up. He joined Makemytrip in its early stages of scaling in 2008 as the CMO and played a pivotal role in getting it to profitable leadership and a successful IPO at NASDAQ in 2010.

He later took on the role of COO and led the business to scale to multifold revenue growth and sustained market leadership. In 2018, he joined Zomato as the CEO-Food delivery in the early days of Zomato’s entry into food delivery and was subsequently made a co-founder. Mr. Mohit Gupta helped build the business and take it to market leadership, profitability and a stellar IPO in 2021. Most recently Mr. Gupta has founded a new venture in the premium fashion retail space.

Mr. Karve is a Chartered Accountant (1994), a Cost Accountant (1993) and holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Bombay (1991).

He has more than 30 years of rich professional experience across various sectors such as Consumer Products, IT services and Financial Services.

He had worked with Marico, a listed FMCG group in India with a market capitalization of more than USD 10 billion, for around two decades (from October’2000 to September’2020).

During his tenure, he has occupied various leadership positions, with the past 6 years as Group CFO. In his last stint as CFO of Financial Services Sector at Mahindra Finance, a listed NBFC with a market capitalization of about USD 4 billion, he was responsible for leading the finance function, spanning sectors such as vehicle & home finance, insurance broking and mutual fund AMC.

Mr. David Martin Fletcher holds a bachelor’s degree in modern history from Durham University, United Kingdom. He commenced in the role of chief risk officer for Bupa in 2017. He has been with Bupa since 2014 and previously held roles as chief internal auditor and managing director of Bupa International Development Markets.

He is a member of the chief executive committee at Bupa and vice chairman and director of Bupa Arabia For Cooperative Insurance Company. Previously, he was serving as president director of Bank Permata in Indonesia and served as the group head, internal audit across the Standard Chartered Group. Prior to this he held executive positions in general management and risk management at Standard Chartered Bank.

Mr. Roger William John Davis holds a MA degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from the University of Oxford. He dedicated 12 years as an Officer in the British Army. He brings 40 years of experience in financial services with large global organizations.

He presided as a Chairman of BUPA, Chairman of Sainsbury’s Bank and a Non-Executive Director of Experian plc, the Global Information Services Company. He served on the Board of Barclays Bank PLC while leading Barclays UK, overseeing all corporate and retail banking operations.

He spent a number of years in investment banking in London and Asia with positions including Managing Director of India for Jardine Fleming, and Chief Executive Officer of BZW Asia Pacific.

Ms. Siobhan Djihan Moynihan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Imperial College London.Ms. Siobhan is part of BUPA since 2022 as CFO of Bupa Global, India and UK having previously been Finance Director of Bupa’s UK Insurance business. She is a Non-Executive Director at the Resolution Foundation and chairs the Wellbeing agenda for Business in the Community.

Prior to that she was Finance Director at Resolution Life Group, a global life insurance group. Earlier in her career, she was Chief Internal Auditor of Coventry Building Society and CFO of LCG plc a listed retail trading business.

She started her career with Deloitte for ten years working both in the UK and in Australia.

Mr. Christopher Patrick Carroll holds a Bachelor of Business and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is associated with BUPA since November 2020. He became Managing Director of Bupa Health Insurance Australia in March 2022 and in January 2025 he was designated as CEO of Bupa Insurance UK.

Mr. Christopher became CEO of Bupa Global, India & UK on January 1, 2026. In this role, he is accountable for Bupa UK's portfolio of businesses, Bupa Global, which provides international private medical insurance to customers around the world, and Niva Bupa in India.

Before joining Bupa in 2020, Chris was CEO of WS Audiology - Asia Pacific and prior to that held executive positions at Medibank.

Mr. Vishwanath Mahendra joined the Company in March, 2020. He is responsible for developing and executing the Company’s financial strategy. He has more than 3 decades of experience in Finance, Actuarial and Risk Management.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and is a fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (erstwhile ICWA). He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst from CFA Institute, US and a Fellow Member of Institute & Faculty of Actuaries, UK (FIA) and Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI).

Prior to joining the Company, he was associated with Apollo Munich Health Insurance Company Limited as Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer. He has rich exposure in health insurance space.

Mr. Ankur Kharbanda joined the Company in April, 2020. He is responsible for Sales & Distribution for the Company. He holds a post graduate diploma from FORE School of Management, Delhi. He has more than two decades of experience in health insurance space.

Prior to joining the Company, he was associated with HDFC Ergo Health Insurance Company and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited.
